ATVs can go anywhere and everywhere. They are basically four-wheel
motorbikes (quad bikes) that have 4WD and are fairly easy to operate.
ATV tour companies will often combine a day on the bikes with horse-riding or other adventure activities in the Cairns region.
There are some age restrictions but for something different it’s worth a try.
Young kids won’t be able to ride alone but in some cases they can
piggyback with an adult.
ATVs offer some difficulties for those with mobility issues; check in advance with the operator.
